The Missing Sodder Children

Christmas Eve, almost 80 years ago, in West Virginia a family suffered a terrible tragedy when a mysterious fire destroyed their home. Most of the family escaped except for five of the nine children. Believing they had perished, by the time the fire department made it there Christmas morning they discovered the more unthinkable: no bodies or bones of the five children were found. Did the children escape, were they kidnapped, trafficked or worse, murdered sometime later? Tonight we discuss that and more in the case of the missing Sodder children.

The Witch's Castle

A true crime AND haunted location episode all in one?! We got a double whammy this Wednesday guys coming right out of the state of Oregon: this is the story of Danford Balch & the Witch's Castle. Balch was the first legal hanging in Portland, Oregon in 1859 for the murder of his daughter Anna's husband. As legend goes, Balch's wife (or Anna, depending on who you ask) placed a Witch's curse on the property & from there the land, which is now a Park, and the mysterious "castle" that was built there sometime later, have been haunted. Is it Anna, her husband, Balch or his wife to blame for the supposed hauntings? Would you dare take a hike to the Witch's Castle?

Astroworld Tragedy

Yesterday, November 5th, was the 3 year anniversary of the Astroworld tragedy, the Travis Scott concert in Houston, TX where 10 people died and thousands were injured. Ghost Game Interview

The Dating Game Killer

True Crime Episode tonight guys, so trigger warning on this one. Rodney Alcala, known as the "Dating Game Killer" after a 1978 appearance on the show, was convicted of 8 murders that happened between 1971 and 1979. He died in prison in 2021. A purported amateur photographer, thousands of photos were found belonging to Alcala that could be possibly linked to even more murders. A show based on the Dating Game appearance, directed & starring Anna Kendrick called Woman of the Hour, premieres on Netflix October 18th.
