A lesser-known Christmas Horror film that gained cult status due to its praise from director John Waters, tonight we discuss the 1980 infamous holiday slasher, "Christmas Evil." A man driven insane from a traumatic event in his childhood goes on a rampage with a hatchet dressed as Santa Claus. Starring Brandon Maggart as Harry and Jeffrey DeMunn, beloved Dale from the Walking Dead, as Phil, this splatter psychological thriller is sure to be on your seasonal watch list, if not already. Xmas True Crime

Hell House LLC Series

The Disappearance of Paige Renkoski

Paige Renkoski at age 30 went missing May of 1990 after her car was found abandoned on the side of a highway in Michigan. Her missing cold case is one of the longest running in Michigan history. The case was declared a homicide even though no body has been found. Even though there have been some leads and even sightings, police have not gotten any closer to solving her case. Paige's mother passed away in 2017 (a dual memorial service held for both of them early 2018) so her sister carries on advocacy regarding her disappearance. Pennsylvania Dutch Magic

Tonight's episode is about a mythical practice dating back over 300 years that made its way to America thru European, namely German, immigration: that practice is called Pennsylvania Dutch Magic or Braucherei (pronounced "BROY-ker-eye.") It is a Christian folk practice that includes a range of healing rituals used primarily for treating ailments in humans, livestock, and crops, as well as securing physical and spiritual protection. Wet Bulb Temperature Interview

Bringing you another Cinephreak Pictures interview, courtesy of Jakob Bilinski, tonight we're speaking with Joe Atkinson, director and writer of the film, Wet Bulb Temperature, which is making its way thru the festival circuit having already won Best Feature Film at the Victory International Film Festival. The log line for the movie reads: "When three college students find themselves isolated, thousands of miles from home, at the beginning of the climate apocalypse, they must battle the elements, the others around them, and even themselves as they attempt to survive in this dystopian thriller." The Borley Rectory

Kicking off spooky month with a haunted location across the pond, tonight we're discussing the Borley Church and Rectory, both described as the most haunted places in England. The church, dating back to the 11th century, and the rectory, dating back to the 1800s, have both had their share of paranormal activity, from unexplained sightings & footsteps, disembodied voices and even phantom sounds of church bells & organ music. The rectory caught fire and the remains were demolished in the 1940s, but the church still stands, even having been investigated by researchers Ed and Lorraine Warren in the 1970s.
